AULONACARA'S MUSINGS
My Jesus
A poem-sonnet
- Auratus // January 8, 2010
My Jesus...
My Jesus is Life; I am Finished in Him.
My Jesus holds me tight in His Time Shell of Purification; I am as His pearl never lost.
My Jesus rejoices over finding me; I am humbled by His mercy toward me. I cry in joy.
My Jesus is The Bright Light Of Love, there is no room for shadows in me.
My Jesus purifies me; I mourn in the pain of His Tender Caring Love.
My Jesus hides not from my tears, He returns them to me as Pure Living Water: I thirst not.
My Jesus forgives my sin and ignorance at the Cross: then, now and forever - no shame.
My Jesus is the Spirit of my Life, I cannot force myself to stay Alive: I am healed.
My Jesus has captured me away from prison: I am His happy slave. I really do belong to Him.
My Jesus feeds me the Hidden Manna; I do His Will, and never find hunger.
My Jesus Loves me, I am never lonely; but for more of Him in others, I rejoice or cry.
My Jesus rushes to join me in the mutual worship of our Father: great is Our harmony.
My Jesus calls me friend, I don't want to disappoint Him.
My Jesus is Emanuel; the Great I AM. I prostrate before Him in humility and brokenness.
My Jesus makes me New in His Son of Life; He is each Breath I receive. I tremble.
My Jesus calls me to His Glory: I die for His Glorification each day.
Only Jesus remains. In Him I am lost to the world; dead to it, mocked by it, crucified by it.
In Him I am found by the Father: Alive.
My Jesus is my Resurrection.
My Forever.
Peace.
Rest.
Amen.
