The story of Daily Life Worship is a story of how when God plants a seed, He waters it. The Lord planted a seed in me to start a ministry that was more of a daily offering to Him, by offering up praises and prayers to Him, much in the way that David once did in the King’s court. Except for me, I was just in a room, recording it and then uploading it on Itunes--free to the world to join in on the worship session and ultimately connect with the Lord in the same way.

I started the ministry--calling it Daily Live Worship--in a season of disappointment and financial setback when I was laid off from a job as a worship pastor at a church in Texas. But the Lord spoke to me to that moment and encouraged me to keep going, in a way that would fulfill His purpose in me. The ministry officially started in Aug. 4, 2009, just me recording a worship session with the Lord, not really knowing what would result but just being obedient. We had 7 listeners (via Itunes) to the broadcast on that first day. The first miracle--one that could only be appointed by God--happened 40 day's after starting the ministry. An attorney called me saying he wanted to partner with us; he said the ministry had changed his life in incredible ways. Then he gave me a financial contribution to the ministry that was exactly equal to a month of salary from the job that I had previously occupied, a clear sign of the provision of the Lord. Today, there are many, many people around the world who support the ministry, providing for wife, and four children, as well as providing for new strategic ways to reach others around the globe with His heart for worship and prayer.

We have now surpassed the one-year mark and the Lord has done abundant things in that time. Daily Live Worship is now a full-fledged 501c3 non-profit organization that has reached 1,113,423 downloads and 459,525 subscribers, all to His glory. As we continue to make the Lord smile through worship, He has given me a heart to intercede for the nations. We take prayer requests from all over the globe. The amazing thing is that we’ve seen Him soveriengly answer a majority of those prayer requests, whether it be for spiritual breakthrough, financial breakthrough, relationship breakthrough. Embedded in each broadcast, I try to give doses of the Gospel, in ways that that those who are listening and don’t know Him, might commit to Him, or others may even re-dedicate themselves to Him. I pray that in nations where they don’t have the same freedom as America, where Bibles and the Word aren’t as prevalent, that they can hear His truth and it will indeed set them free. God has given me a heart for worship, but I feel that He has called each of us to this process of worship, to sit before Him in order to lift our hearts to Him. I feel honored that He has bestowed on me that privilege to lead others’ to His feet, daily. But as we grow, my prayer to Him is not for me/us to grow, but for others to grow deeper in their faith with Him, and for His great love to soak deeper into each one of those subscribers around the world.
