Apr 23, 2009Please pray for all those away from their families and friends right now, whether they be serving in the military to protect their country and loved ones, or missionaries throughout the world working to spread the Good News, those away at college, and so on - may they find peace and strength in Christ the Lord; and may they never lose hope and may they always stay close to God. In Jesus' Name we pray - Amen!

Jul 27, 2009I want to pray for all the sick and suffering. I know God works in mysterious ways and has a plan for everything but too much am i seeing children losing their parents at very young ages over diseases and illness. I lost my mom at 3 years old and growing up it was hard. I never got to know her but missing "my mom" was always hard. Going through girl scouts and not having a mom to do mother daughter events hurt so bad (so long story short I quit the scouts)...but I have lived through it and handled it, but the hurt i see in the eyes of children who lose their parents it puts a pain in my heart like a knife piercing through me...so want to lift up all the sick and suffering in pray. As well as those children who have terminal illnesses.
